Industrial 4" Wide Label Printer Range

Godex EZ-2200 Plus and EZ-2300 Plus printers offer heavy-duty performance for high volume applications and harsh industrial environments at an affordable price. A choice of 200 and 300 dpi resolution models are available and both can print in either thermal transfer (with ribbon) or direct thermal (without ribbon) modes.

For long printing runs label roll sizes up to 200mm diameter can be accommodated. In thermal transfer print mode, standard 450m long ribbons are used which can be inside or outside coated for maximum flexibility.

EZ-2000 series printers come as standard with serial, USB and Ethernet ports with WiFi and parallel optional.

For stand-alone operation, EZ-2000 series printers have a Compact Flash slot as standard and optional PS2 keyboard connector allowing label designs to be created on a PC and downloaded to an on-board Compact Flash card. The PC may then be disconnected and label designs selected using the keyboard and built in display. Variable data such as batch codes can be entered via the keyboard.

Twin sensor technology is included as standard. Die cut labels can bebe detected with a transmissive gap sensor whilst tags or clear labels can be detected with a reflective 'eye mark' sensor.

Options include cutter, internal rewinder and label dispenser with backing paper rewinder modules.

EZ-2000 series printers can be used as the basis of low-cost print-and-apply systems for top or side apply applications. It is also possible to upgrade from desktop to print-and-apply operation by simply adding the applicator arm and stand from the print-and-apply system. When replacing Zebra or Eltron printers, Godex printers can operate in emulation mode allowiing them to be used as direct replacements without changing software or printer drivers.
