Advanced Label Applicator Series

The Collamat 6600 series provides high-precision labelling at line speeds up to 30m/min with all of the benefits of modular design and the usual Collamat build quality. Left and right-hand models are available for label widths up to 95 or 160mm. The choice of application modules includes:

▪ Fixed beak applicator with spring-loaded pinch roller

▪ Fixed applicator

▪ Electromagnetically operated flap applicator for labelling in recessed areas

▪ Blow-applicator for labelling fragile items

▪ Tamp applicator for high precision labelling

 

For print-and-apply applications, a thermal transfer coder or print engine can be built into the system either when intially installed or at a later date.

If the applicator is installed in an inaccessible position then a remote control panel can be used to allow easy access to label position (delay), label sensor sensitivity, predispense position and speed controls.

A shaft encoder may be used to ensure the label dispense speed matches the product speed making the 6600 series ideal for variable speed production lines.

Non-stop operation chan be achieved by using two 6600 applicators installed in slave-master configuration. When a fault condition e.g. web break or low labels is deected in the Master applicator, the Slave applicator automatically starts labelling.

Options are also available for sensing web break and low label conditions with contrtol output and warning beacon connections.
